Welcome to The Golden Mile in Golden Gate Park.
Immerse yourself in 1.5 miles (we’re overachievers) of massive murals, large-scale sculptures, gleaming yellow Adirondack chairs, family games, live music, an outdoor living room, a coffee kiosk, open play pianos, a beer and wine garden (on weekends), a massive yellow dot (yep) and even a whale in the middle of the road.

About the Golden Mile Project
A massive and fast-paced collaborative effort, The Golden Mile Project revealed the promise and potential of JFK Promenade as a place for people first, rather than a road for cars upon which pedestrians and bicycles are allowed to pass.
